Tyson $27m in debt after squandering $300m

BOXER Mike Tyson squandered a $300 million fortune to finance his lavish lifestyle, leaving him $27m in debt, court papers showed yesterday.

The former heavyweight champion, who declared himself bankrupt last week, owes cash to a string of creditors, including $3.9m to Britain's Inland Revenue.

He also owes $177,000 to a Las Vegas jewellery store for a gold chain lined with 80 carats in diamonds, $309,000 to a California limousine company and $60,000 to a Beverly Hills Ferrari dealership.
