Celebrity chef to drug test new staff

CELEBRITY chef Gordon Ramsay yesterday said he planned to drug-test every new member of staff starting work at one of his restaurants.

The move follows the death last month of David Dempsey, head chef at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, west London.

The 31-year-old Scot fell 40ft from the second floor an apartment block off the Kings Road in Chelsea after smashing up one of the flats with a golf club in what witnesses said appeared to be a drug-induced rampage.
