AN AIR FRANCE jetliner carrying 309 people skidded off a runway while landing in a thunderstorm at Toronto's Pearson International Airport last night, sliding into a ravine and bursting into flames.

All passengers and crew members survived, jumping out of the plane before the fire broke out.

A Canadian Government official said it appeared everyone survived but 14 people suffered minor injuries.

<p>The U.S. military said it killed four men in a strike on a suspected drug vessel in international waters in the Eastern Pacific on Thursday (December 4). “Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel in international waters operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization. Intelligence confirmed that the vessel was carrying illicit narcotics and transiting along a known narco-trafficking route in the Eastern Pacific. Four male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed,” the U.S. military said in a statement on X. U.S. Southern Command released a 21-second-long video showing the boat being struck.
