‘Stop trying to make money at our expense’, say Beckhams

DAVID and Victoria Beckham yesterday said they were “sick and tired” of people “trying to make money at the expense of our family.”

‘Stop trying to make money at our expense’, say Beckhams

They issued a statement after a newspaper linked the England soccer captain to a beauty therapist said to be a close friend of his pregnant wife.

Yesterday’s Sunday Mirror reported an allegation by Essex beauty therapist Dannielle Heath, 22, that Beckham had seduced her.

The couple said: “We are sick and tired of people trying to make money at the expense of our family. It is even more distressing when we are expecting our third child soon. The allegations are completely and totally untrue, and it is in the hands of our lawyers.”

The Beckhams’ marriage has been under scrutiny since it was alleged that the footballer had an affair with personal assistant Rebecca Loos.

The Real Madrid star branded the claims “ludicrous” and has said: “The simple truth is that I am very happily married, have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing that any third party can do to change these facts.”

The couple announced in August that they were expecting their third child.

Sunday Mirror spokeswoman said: “We are 100% confident of our story and stand by every word.”

In a statement issued later by the newspaper, Ms Heath said: “I have told the truth, as David knows. I never wanted to hurt Victoria at this time but David really should have considered that too.”
