Bomb teen bailed

A BRITISH teenager arrested after bomb-making equipment was found in a house has been released on bail, police said today.

Bomb squad experts were called to the address on Cadoxton Terrace in Neath, South Wales, last night and residents in houses within a 100-metre radius were evacuated.

A 17-year-old who lives in the house was arrested and questioned by police. He has now been released pending further inquiries.

A small home-made device was later made safe and residents were allowed to return to their homes.

A police spokesperson said: “We are keen to stress that this is an isolated incident not connected with terrorism.”
