Rebel clashes in Chechnya

FOUR Russian servicemen have been killed in the latest clashes with rebels in Chechnya, an official with Chechnya’s Moscow-backed civilian administration said yesterday.

A Chechen police officer was also abducted by unidentified, masked gunmen from his home.
