Stewart to serve time in remote jail

Celebrity homemaker Martha Stewart, aged 63, will do her time farther from home than she had hoped, at Alderson, a remote West Virginia prison where inmates sleep in bunk beds and rise at 6am to do menial labour for pennies an hour.

Millionaire personality Stewart was convicted in March of lying about a stock sale. She must report to Alderson by October 8.
