Spielberg in Venice

STEVEN SPIELBERG will be in Venice this year to open the lagoon city’s film festival with his new movie, The Terminal, festival organisers said.

The movie will be shown out of competition at the September 1-11 event.

The Terminal, starring Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones, tells the story of an eastern European immigrant who finds himself stranded in a US airport when war breaks out in his homeland.
