Parry gets OBE

PEACE campaigner Colin Parry, whose son Tim was killed by an IRA bomb in Warrington in 1993 received an OBE yesterday.

Mr Parry, 57, became determined to smash cycles of violence after the death of his 12-year-old son, who had gone into the town centre to buy football shorts when he was caught in the blast, which also killed three-year-old Jonathan Ball and injured 56 others.
