Sex symbol ‘Scully’ marries

X-FILES star Gillian Anderson has secretly married her longtime English boyfriend, it was confirmed yesterday.

Anderson tied the knot with documentary film-maker Julian Ozanne at a friend’s beach house on Lamu’s Shella island, off Kenya’s Indian Ocean coast, according to People magazine.

The low-key ceremony on December 29 included hymns sung by a Kenyan choir in Swahili and was attended by immediate family and a handful of close friends, guests told the US publication.

Anderson’s London agent confirmed the pair had exchanged vows but could not reveal the details.

The Chicago-born actress has a daughter, Piper, 10, from her previous marriage to production designer Clyde Klotz, which ended in 1996.

Anderson and Ozanne, 42, a former Financial Times journalist, live in London.
