O’Toole remarks cause mayhem

SOME Irish economists reacted furiously to allegations from union leader Joe O’Toole that they talked down the economy to suit purposes of their employers.

As president of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions he accused them of consistently getting their facts wrong and of being lackeys to their employers.

Jim Power of Friends First, said it was Mr O’Toole who needed “to come into the real world.”
