Car with explosives found at rail station
Police later said a second vehicle was being examined in the nearby town of Leighton Buzzard. The police refused to say where it was recovered. A Bedfordshire police spokesman said the vehicle was not found at the train station but it was also being linked to the terrorist attacks.
A 100-metre cordon was placed around the station and a series of controlled explosions carried out in a major operation by Bedfordshire Police in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police.
