Student blamed for Japan bomb

A STUDENT in Japan threw an explosive into a classroom yesterday, injuring 53 people.

The 18-year-old threw an explosive into a classroom at Hikari public high school, Yamaguchi prefectural (state) a police spokesman said.

Police immediately arrested the student.
