Two more Iraqis on US wanted list in custody

TWO leading figures in Saddam Hussein’s former regime are now in custody after one was captured and the other surrendered.

The former governor of Basra, who appears at number 44 on the United States list of most wanted men has reportedly surrendered in Baghdad.

Walid Hamid Tawfiq al-Tikriti gave himself up to American and Iraqi officials, an Iraqi National Congress spokesman said.
