Israelis kill Palestinian boy

Israeli troops shot dead an eight-year-old Palestinian boy in Nablus yesterday as hundreds of youths ignored a strict curfew, witnesses and hospital staff said.

The children gathered in the centre of the West Bank city and began hurling stones at an army jeep, the witnesses said.

The soldiers opened fire, killing eight-year-old Jihad Faqeh, doctors said.
