Lost teenager beats the odds by following river to safety

A BRITISH teenager who was lost on an Australian mountain for more than three days escaped her ordeal

Louise Saunders turned up safe and well yesterday after finding her way out of the dense rainforest which covers Mount Tyson in Queensland.

The 19-year-old from Kidderminster in Worcestershire had been missing since Tuesday morning when she set out alone to climb the peak which overlooks the town of Tully.
