A NEWBORN baby has been found abandoned under a bush in Leicester, England.

The baby girl, just hours old, has been named Lily by nurses after she was discovered late on Sunday night and taken to hospital.

A 23-year-old woman heard Lily crying as she walked in the Beaumont Leys area.
