Tone down language and phones or buzz off, says British pub chain

PUNTERS who turn the air blue with foul language may soon be told to push off.

A major British pub chain is considering banning foul-mouthed drinkers as part of a clampdown on swearing.

JD Wetherspoon, which runs 650 pubs, is to print messages on menus and place signs at the bar asking drinkers to mind their language.
