Three men released without charge after terror probe

THREE men detained in Wales under the Terrorism Act were last night released without charge.

The trio, two aged 20 and one aged 26, were arrested by Gwent police yesterday following reports of suspicious activity in the Chepstow Road area of Newport.

Gwent Police said the men, who are all asylum seekers and from Newport, were released after extensive inquiries established no offence had been committed.
