Rooney gets the boot
The striker, 17, was with Scouse team-mate Alan Stubbs, 31, looking at property in an exclusive Chelsea estate agents.
The pair, dressed in tracksuits, were mistakenly taken for would-be burglars ‘casing’ houses and flats to break into.
Both players were asked to leave the offices, before Everton’s 4-1 loss to Chelsea in the Worthington Cup earlier this month.
The pair left the estate agents without making a fuss, The Sun reported.
Rooney, who earns stg£6,000 a week and is considered one of the Premiership’s brightest talents, had been ordered by his boss, David Moyes, to stretch his legs after the team’s coach trip from Merseyside.
