Patient warns against SARS hysteria

A BRITISH man suspected as having the SARS virus yesterday called on the public to act responsibly

The unnamed patient has been discharged from Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, after treatment for suspected Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), said a hospital spokeswoman.

In a statement from the man issued by the hospital, he praised the care he had received.
