Simpson plays pin-up Daisy Duke in the movie remake complete with trademark denim shorts.
The role was originally played by Catherine Bach in the hit 1980s TV show.
And Simpson wears an even tinier version of the famous shorts - measuring just 10 inches from top to bottom.
Sadly for fans in London’s Leicester Square, she wore a floor-length dress for the premier: “I can’t walk the red carpet in Daisy Dukes.”
It was left to glamour girl Jordan to flash the flesh in a pair of minuscule sequinned pants.
The big screen remake features American Pie’s Seann William Scott and Jackass star Johnny Knoxville as good ol’ boys Bo and Luke Duke.
Burt Reynolds plays their enemy Boss Hogg and country music legend Willie Nelson appears as their Uncle Jesse.
Simpson, a singer and star of reality show Newly Weds with husband Nick Lachey, is making her movie debut in the film.
She embarked on an exercise regime to make sure she could fit into the famous hot pants.
“I grew up loving Daisy Duke. She was someone I idolised as a kid so to play her is a dream come true.”
The original TV series ran from 1979 to 1985 and the Dukes’ Dodge Charger car, the General Lee, became as famous as the actors.
