Latvian pupils seriously injured after stabbing

TWO Latvian high school students were in serious condition in hospital yesterday after one stabbed the other and then jumped from a third-storey window at their school.

Police said the boy who stabbed his classmate was 17, while the other was a 15-year-old.

The younger boy suffered stab wounds to his stomach and chest. The 17-year-old fractured both of his legs.
