a university student who killed two classmates has sparked calls for tighter gun controls in Australia.
Huan Yun Xiang, a 36-year-old business student, appeared in court in Melbourne yesterday charged with murder and attempted murder.
Xiang who is Chinese and also has Australian citizenship was not required to enter a plea, made no statement and did not seek bail.
