Agreeing a national pay agreement is not necessarily in our interests

SOME weeks ago a supposed breakthrough was achieved in the latest series of National Pay Agreements

Since then things have gone very quiet with the notable exception of the CIE Group of Unions taking to the streets over the proposed and long awaited re-structuring of that firm.

Whilst it wasn't directly about money - no doubt more money might make it go away.
