Cork striker Aaron Drinan’s brace helped Swindon to a 3-1 victory at Barnet, handing the hosts their first league defeat of the season.
Barnet threatened inside seven minutes when Kabongo Tshimanga’s cross deflected into Stephan Negru’s path, but his effort was saved by Swindon goalkeeper Connor Ripley.
The visitors responded against the run of play as Mitch Clark surged forward on a swift counter-attack before curling into the bottom corner for his first goal for the club.
Barnet continued to press, with Charlie Lakin volleying narrowly wide before Ripley was called into action to produce five saves in quick succession.
Swindon doubled their advantage when Matty Virtue’s superb low cross found captain Drinan, who poked home past Matthew Cox.
Drinan struck again just two minutes later, capitalising on a lapse in concentration from Barnet’s defence before rifling his effort into the net.
Swindon started the second half brightly as Joe Snowdon drilled an effort straight at Cox, before Barnet pulled a goal back late on through Tshimanga, who converted from close range.
