Waterford drawn away to Bohs in FAI Cup semi, Caulfield's Galway host Derry

Waterford will travel to Dalymount Park for an FAI Cup semi-final, with Galway United hosting Derry City in the other last four tie.

The Blues are the form team of the Premier Division and they will square up to a Bohemians side led by their former boss Alan Reynolds on the weekend of October 10/11 for a place in the final at the Aviva Stadium.

It’s a repeat of the 2021 semi-final, when Georgie Kelly’s solitary strike claimed victory for the Gypsies.

Derry claimed the final place in the last four on Sunday by coming from behind to beat Dundalk 4-2. They must travel to Eamonn Deacy Park to meet John Caulfield’s outfit.

The final takes place on November 8, with a place in Europe on offer for the victor.
