Manchester United have announced a new multi-year training kit sponsorship deal with Betway which the club say is the biggest of its kind in world football.

United have not disclosed the terms of the deal but Super Group, which owns the Betway brand, will reportedly pay £20million per season to have their logo on the training kit of both United’s men’s and women’s teams, as well as around Old Trafford and the Progress with Unity Stadium on matchdays.

United went without a training kit partner last season after the expiry of their agreement with blockchain platform Tezos in June 2025, but their return to the Champions League has allowed them to secure more lucrative terms than might otherwise have been available.

The new deal for the training kit sponsorship comes into effect at the same time as new Premier League regulations that prevent gambling companies from appearing on the front of matchday shirts from next season.

Announcing the deal, United’s chief business officer Marc Armstrong said: “We are delighted to welcome Betway as official principal partner.

“The scale of our exciting new partnership reflects our growth strategy, the enduring global strength and appeal of Manchester United, and our ability to attract leading brands that want to engage with our vast worldwide fanbase.”
