Manchester City return to Premier League action this weekend with their title chase firmly back in focus after nearly a month away.

A mix of cup commitments and the international break has kept City out of league action since the 1-1 draw at West Ham on March 14, but attention now shifts to Sunday's trip to Chelsea.

Pep Guardiola's side are looking to crank up the pressure on leaders Arsenal, who sit nine points clear but have played a game more and still have to visit the Etihad Stadium later this month.

Morale is also high after a convincing victory over the Gunners in the Carabao Cup final and last week's FA Cup thrashing of Liverpool.

City forward Antoine Semenyo said: "We've got a good team, we know that. We just have to stay calm and just make sure that once the games come, we're ready to go.

"So just a matter of being calm and then ready to go. Just hit the ground running."

Defenders John Stones and Ruben Dias are both doubtful for the visit to Stamford Bridge but neither are expected to be sidelined long-term.
