The Munster Football Association have announced that Turner's Cross Stadium will now be known as Munster FA Turner's Cross Stadium.
The Munster FA, who own the ground and use it for local finals as well as hosting Cork City FC home matches, made the decision at a council meeting on Thursday night.
And a statement released by the M.F.A on Friday reads: "The Munster Football Association on Thursday 22nd January 2026 at its full council meeting fully approved that from this date forward Turners Cross Stadium will officially be known as Munster FA Turners Cross Stadium.

"With immediate effect, the updated name Munster FA Turners Cross Stadium should be used in all publishing of fixtures, events, marketing materials, media coverage, and any other communications relating to the stadium.
"All stakeholders, partners, leagues, clubs, media outlets, and governing bodies are requested to update their records and ensure the new name is reflected across all platforms and future references.
"We thank you in advance for your cooperation."
