Liverpool striker Alexander Isak has surgery on fractured ankle

The striker was hurt in a challenge from Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven on Saturday.

Liverpool have announced Alexander Isak fractured his ankle during Saturday’s victory over Tottenham and has undergone surgery.

The striker was hurt in a challenge from Micky van de Ven in the act of scoring the opening goal in the 2-1 victory and limped off the pitch.
