Ireland Women’s National Team will take on Hungary in Marbella, Spain on Saturday, November 29.

After clinching promotion to League A in the UEFA Nations League, following their two-legged play-off victory over Belgium, the Girls in Green will close out the year with the behind-closed-doors friendly.

The game will be part of a training camp during the November international window.

“It’s important to use every opportunity that we can to work with the players as we continue towards our goal of qualifying for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup and this camp gives us that extra time with the squad," said head coach Ward.

“The plan was always to have a training camp outside of the country for this international window but adding in an International Friendly with Hungary is a bonus as that will provide us with a chance to test ourselves against a good team.”

The game in the Marbella Football Center will mark the 11th of the calendar year for the WNT, while it will act as Head Coach Carla Ward’s third International Friendly game since taking charge in January. This game will not be open to the general public.
