Republic of Ireland boss Heimir HallgrĂmsson has named a 24-man squad, inclusive of returning duo John Egan and Seamus Coleman, for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Portugal and Armenia.
Ireland will first travel to Lisbon to face Portugal at the Estådio José Alvalade on Saturday, October 11 (kick-off, 7.45pm), before returning to Dublin to host Armenia at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday, October 14 (kick-off, 7.45pm).
Cork native Egan's call-up is his first since September 2023, following a string of impressive performances for Hull City in the Championship.
Coleman also makes his return to the squad, for the first time since September 2024, with fellow right-back Matt Doherty ruled out through injury.
In midfield, West Bromwich Albion's Jayson Molumby and Millwall's Will Smallbone are both included, with Jason Knight and Bosun Lawal unavailable due to injury.
Callum O'Dowda is rewarded for his excellent start with Hungarian champions FerencvĂĄros, while Festy Ebosele earns a recall after his standout displays in the Turkish SĂŒper Lig for İstanbul BaĆakĆehir.
Striker Troy Parrott has also been named in the squad as he nears a return from the injury that kept him out of the September window.Â
It is hoped the AZ Alkmaar forward will feature against Telstar this weekend, after which he will be assessed by the FAI medical team upon arrival into camp.
