Waterford axe boss Coleman, Lawlor returns to interim role

Waterford have sacked manager John Coleman after a fifth straight league defeat sunk the team into the relegation playoff spot.

Matt Lawlor, who took caretaker charge before the arrival of Coleman in May, is to return to fulfill the same function for the last four games - starting with Friday’s visit of Drogheda United.
