Colin Fortune resigns from role as Athlone Town women's manager

The Women's Premier Division champions are currently top of table after 17 games and they are set to play the first leg of their historic Europa Cup tie away to Glasgow City on Wednesday.

Athlone Town have announced that Colin Fortune has resigned from his role as the club's women's first team manager.

Fortune, who previously played for Dundalk and Galway, took charge of Athlone back in November 2024.
