Nicolas Jackson is set to join German giants Bayern Munich on loan from Chelsea with an option to buy.

The deal sees Chelsea receive an initial loan fee of €15m while Bayern have a €65m purchase option for the striker.

Jackson, 24, has already agreed a pre-contract with the club and is travelling to Germany today to complete the move.

A sell-on clause has also been included in the deal.

Jackson has been surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge since the summer arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.

The Senegalese forward has not played for the club since July in the Blues semi-final victory over Fluminense in the Club World Cup.
