Shamrock Rovers on lookout for third CEO in three years
Rovers won the league in Martin’s first year at the helm and broke new ground in Europe by reaching the Conference League playoffs, but a period of off-field in-fighting spilled over into the team management.Â
Shamrock Rovers have confirmed the upcoming departure of John Martin, leaving the League of Ireland club seeking their third chief executive in just three years.
Martin, who played for the club as well as Longford Town during his playing career, was only appointed in June 2022 in succession to Denis Donohoe.
