Cork City assistant manager Jamie Hamill has left his role with the club and returned home to Scotland for family reasons.
Hamill linked up with City boss Tim Clancy - then newly-appointed himself - prior to 2024 First Division campaign.
The pair had been familiar with each other from their playing days at Scottish outfit Kilmarnock.
Clancy and assistant Hamill led the Rebel Army back to the Premier Division at the first time of asking and had started the 2025 season in solid fashion, taking six points from their opening five games.
“I would like to thank Hamo for everything he has done in the role over the last year and a bit," Clancy said. "He’s been a big asset to both the club and also me in my own role, and he will be missed.
"I can fully understand why he has now decided he needs to be back home in Scotland and he leaves with our thanks and very best wishes for the future.”
