Cobh Ramblers manager Mick McDermott reckons the current reputation of the First Division outfit makes them an enticing proposition to players like latest recruit, former Chelsea striker George Nunn.

The player who Chelsea forked out €350,000 for in 2018 was recruited as a free agent after severing his ties with Icelandic club HK Kópavogs. McDermott hopes international clearance is received in time to allow him feature in Friday’s meeting with Longford Town at St Colman’s Park.
