Sunderland announce loan signing of Liverpool forward Jayden Danns

The teenager will join up with the Black Cats after completing his rehabilitation from a back injury identified during his medical and spend the remainder of the season at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland have confirmed they clinched a loan move for 19-year-old striker Jayden Danns before Monday night's 11pm transfer deadline after he had signed a new long-term deal at Liverpool.

The teenager, who made his first start and maiden Champions League appearance for the Anfield club at PSV Eindhoven last week, will join up with the Black Cats after completing his rehabilitation from a back injury identified during his medical and spend the remainder of the season at the Stadium of Light.
