Cobh Ramblers announce Mick McDermott as new head coach 

Former Glentoran boss McDermott, who hails from Belfast, has enjoyed a management career spanning multiple continents, having held key roles with national teams such as Iran and Qatar.

League of Ireland First Division outfit Cobh Ramblers have announced Mick McDermott as their new head coach.

McDermott, 50, replaces Paul Hunt, who departed the club last month after only one season in charge, in which he guided the club to an eighth-place finish in the second tier.
