Following Manchester United’s decision to sack Erik ten Hag their former captain Roy Keane has taken to Instagram with his reaction.

The former Red Devils midfielder is the latest to react to the announcement on Monday morning which will see the club search for their sixth permanent manager since Alex Ferguson left the position in 2013.

Keane took to Instagram while out for a walk in wet conditions and posted; “In good teams, coaches hold players accountable. In great teams, players hold players accountable.”

Keane has been critical of United and ten Hag since the start of the season following a series of poor performances and results.

However, the Cork native has shone the spotlight on the players after the departure of another manager.
