Shamrock Rovers said the Ireland international is receiving excellent medical support. She was one of three people injured in the two-car collision. All suffered injuries believed to be non life-threatening.

Shamrock Rovers are awaiting news regarding the condition of Savannah McCarthy after she was involved in a two-vehicle collision near the Kerry and Limerick border on Sunday evening. 

McCarthy, a native of Listowel who has been capped by Ireland, was one of three people injured in the incident. All three suffered injuries believed to be non life-threatening.
