Jim Crawford won’t hesitate to unleash 17-year-old Mason Melia on Norway at Turner’s Cross on Friday week as his U21s seek to seal at least a playoff shot at the Euros.

Heading into the final double-header of the campaign, Ireland are aware that six points from the hosting of Norway and the trip to Italy will clinch automatic qualification for next year’s finals in Slovakia.
