Kerry native Diarmuid O'Carroll appointed Newcastle U21s lead coach

Diarmuid O'Carroll has been appointed lead coach of the Newcastle United U21 team. The Kerryman joins the Premier League club from St Mirren where he was assistant to manager Stephen Robinson.

He is also a coach with Northern Ireland under Michael O'Neill, a role in which he will continue.
