Cork City roared into the semi-finals of the Sports Direct Women's FAI Cup in dramatic fashion as they saw off Bohemians in extra-time to delight the partisan home crowd at Turners Cross.

After a particularly tight affair went the full 90 minutes of normal time without a goal, Danny Murphy saw his outfit gain a crucial advantage thanks to a stunning effort from distance from Orlaith O’Mahony. However the visitors found a leveller early in the second half of extra-time through Katie Malone. Penalties looked to be very much on the cards until Barrett Eidson pounced in the 121st minute to send City through.
