Wayne Rooney is thrilled that Ireland striker Michael Obafemi has joined his Plymouth Argyle cause for this season.

The 24-year-old frontman moves from fellow Championship outfit Burnley, going straight into the squad for Saturday’s lunchtime visit to QPR.
