Euro 24 TV battle: Will Roy Keane and Ange swing it for ITV, mate?
TV BATTLE: James McClean by Naoise Culhane for RTÉ
Will show all 51 matches, 45 on RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player, plus six final group games on RTÉ News channel and RTÉ Player.
James McClean is the new arrival on punditry duty, alongside established panelists like Shay Given, Kevin Doyle, Didi Hamann, Stephanie Roche, Stephen Kelly, Lisa Fallon and Richie Sadlier. Peter Collins, Joanne Cantwell, Tony O'Donoghue and Jacqui Hurley will be solid citizens sharing hosting duties.
All the games in the same place. George Hamilton still in situ, albeit down the pecking order.
No real sign of a return to the glory days of the panel. McClean has already put the boot into his old friend Stephen Kenny, but remains to be seen if he'll continue to stir debate.
Sharing UK coverage with ITV, the Beeb will have 27 live matches including England's first two.
Joe Hart and Thomas Frank join Micah Richards, Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Richael Corsie, Cesc Fabregas and David Moyes as pundits.
Have first pick of the quarters. Lineker, Logan and Scott is a smooth hosting trio, though the overall studio package beginning to look a bit stale.
Alan Shearer has now taken up station in the gantry, where the Beeb were lacking a bit of firepower on co-comms.
Have the opener and Spain's first two, including the appetising Spain v Italy crunch. Get first three picks in the round of 16 and have England's semi, if they get that far.
Ange Postecoglou will add some downbeat realism in punditry alongside Ian Wright, Karen Carney, Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Eni Aluko, and Graeme Souness.
Unless everyone is tired of them, the Stick to Football crowd probably have the ubiquity to swing the studio battle, with Mark Pougatch and Laura Woods breaking even as hosts.
Sam Matterface isn't to everyone's liking on comms. But ITV should draw enough punters just to see if Keano will eventually snap and tell Ange 'I'm not your mate'.
