Reaction to first loss a pleasing factor for Cork City management

Thursday night's clash with Cobh Ramblers presents an opportunity for the league leaders to put back-to-back wins together for the first time since their win over Bray mid-way through last month.

This was a Cork City team that had gone on an unbeaten run that stretched 17 First Division matchdays before falling to defeat against Athlone Town. 

What followed was a nil-all draw against UCD at Turner's Cross. Four days later, they got back to winning ways at home to Longford Town.
