José Mourinho returns to football as new Fenerbahce head coach

Manager to be unveiled at club’s stadium on Sunday night.

José Mourinho is returning to football with Fenerbahce, after the Turkish club announced his appointment as manager on Sunday.

The Portuguese coach had opened talks with the Istanbul giants on Saturday over replacing Ismail Kartal, and appears to have quickly reached an agreement. Mourinho will be unveiled at a ceremony at the club’s Sukru Saracoglu stadium on Sunday evening.
